Job Overview

We are seeking a mid-level DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai or Bangalore. This full-time role involves deploying managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure to support our digital platforms product innovation and global enterprise clients. The candidate will work extensively with modern DevOps tools and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Docker (Mandatory skill) for designing creating and maintaining containerized applications to ensure seamless deployments across different platforms.
• Expertise in Kubernetes (Mandatory skill) for orchestrating and managing clusters scaling workloads and automating rollout and rollback of services in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines) (Mandatory skill) for automating software build test and deployment processes for reliable and repeatable releases.
• Solid knowledge of Shell Scripting to automate day-to-day operational tasks and enhance process efficiency within development and production environments.
• Experience using Ansible for configuration management and automating infrastructure provisioning software deployment and orchestration of complex IT tasks.
• Familiarity with Terraform as Infrastructure as Code tool to build modify and version infrastructure safely and efficiently on cloud platforms.
• Working experience with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB for deployment configuration backup and monitoring tasks within application environments.
• Strong understanding and usage of Ubuntu commands for server administration troubleshooting and system optimization to support DevOps initiatives.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud services focusing on deployment monitoring scaling solutions and ensuring system reliability and availability.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design build and maintain scalable infrastructure using Docker Kubernetes and Terraform ensuring high availability and security across all services.
• Develop implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline application deployments and accelerate release cycles.
• Automate operational processes through Shell Scripting and Ansible to reduce manual intervention improve efficiency and minimize error rates.
• Monitor system and application health troubleshoot issues and proactively implement solutions to maximize uptime for global clients.
• Collaborate with developers architects and QA teams to align deployment strategies with organizational goals and ensure smooth product launches.
• Manage database deployment and maintenance for MySQL or MongoDB environments performing backups and optimizing queries where required.
• Leverage cloud platform features on AWS or Azure to build resilient and scalable solutions aligned with Twixors business needs.
• Document architecture processes and configuration changes to promote best practices and knowledge sharing across the engineering teams.
