HGV Class 2 Drivers (Cat C) Council & Long-Term Contracts atBlue Recruitment Personnel
Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers for multiple local authority and commercial contracts across England Wales and Scotland.
These are ongoing roles with high demand between March and October offering consistent work rather than one-off shifts.

- West Sussex & East Sussex
- Buckinghamshire
- Brent (London)
- Walsall
- Derbyshire
- Cumbria
- Stirling
- Paisley
- Wrexham
- Powys
- Ceredigion
- Approx. 4400 shifts available
- HGV Class 2 (Cat C): 70%
- Labourer / Drivers Mate: 30%
- Predominantly council and public sector contracts
- Norfolk / Derbyshire / Cumbria: 14.50 17.00 per hour
- Cornwall: 15.00 17.50 per hour
- West & East Sussex: 15.50 18.00 per hour
- Buckinghamshire: 16.00 19.00 per hour
- Walsall: 15.00 17.50 per hour
- Brent (London): 18.00 21.00 per hour
- Wrexham / Powys / Ceredigion: 14.50 17.00 per hour
- Stirling / Paisley: 15.50 18.50 per hour
Shift Patterns:
- Early starts (typical council routes)
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend work available (optional)
- Full-time ongoing & seasonal contracts
- Long-term placements with local councils
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence
- Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph
- Maximum 6 points (no DR or DD)
- Council / refuse experience helpful but not essential
- Reliable safety-focused professional approach
