Pay Rate: $17.00 $18.00 per hour
Morning Shift: 7am - 3:30/5:30 pm as needed
Job Summary
We are hiring dependable Heavy Loaders and Forklift Operators to support warehouse and distribution operations. This position involves material handling operating heavy equipment and assisting with shipping and receiving activities. Candidates with experience in warehouse distribution order fulfillment or construction environments will be well suited for this role. The ideal individual will have strong mechanical awareness experience using warehouse systems and a commitment to workplace safety and OSHA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials using forklifts clamp trucks pallet jacks RF scanners and other material-handling equipment
- Accurately perform order picking and fulfillment using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Safely operate cranes and other heavy machinery in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes including proper documentation and product handling
- Handle materials involving heavy lifting stacking and inventory organization
- Support inventory control activities such as cycle counts and quality checks
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment at all times
- Assist warehouse leadership with daily operational needs as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution shipping & receiving or construction environments
- Forklift operation experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
- Ability to safely perform heavy lifting for extended periods
- Experience using RF scanners order pickers pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
- Warehouse lead or supervisory experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
