Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and academically rigorous IIT/JEE Chemistry Teacher to prepare students for JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The role requires a rare balance of numerical problem-solving (Physical Chemistry) mechanistic clarity (Organic Chemistry) and structured memory frameworks (Inorganic Chemistry)all aligned to evolving JEE question patterns.
The educator will be responsible for building deep conceptual understanding exam-oriented problem analysis and consistent performance improvement under timed conditions.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Deliver complete JEE Chemistry syllabus coverage across Physical Organic and Inorganic Chemistry at Mains & Advanced depth.
Ensure measurable improvement in student speed accuracy and problem-analysis ability in chemistry sections.
Design and deliver high-quality practice tests topic-wise diagnostics and exam-strategy workshops.
Build exam-ready habits including structured problem solving calculation efficiency and error minimization.
Core Teaching & Academic Responsibilities
Curriculum Planning & Instruction
Plan detailed lesson sequences covering:
Physical Chemistry: stoichiometry thermodynamics equilibrium kinetics electrochemistry solutions
Organic Chemistry: reaction mechanisms synthesis pathways functional group transformations
Inorganic Chemistry: periodic trends coordination chemistry qualitative analysis
Teach stepwise problem-solving and mechanism walkthroughs with emphasis on method clarity and partial-credit scoring.
Use mnemonics flowcharts and revision frameworks to strengthen inorganic chemistry retention.
Conduct lab-oriented conceptual sessions (demonstrations/simulations) to reinforce experimental reasoning.
Problem Solving & Exam Training
Design:
Numerical drills and stoichiometric problem sets
Organic synthesis and multi-step mechanism exercises
Mixed-concept Advanced-level questions
Teach problem decomposition approximation techniques and calculation shortcuts.
Train students to handle multi-concept and high-difficulty questions efficiently.
Guide students on exam-day strategies resource prioritisation and question selection techniques specific to JEE Chemistry.
Assessment Diagnostics & Performance Tracking
Create topic-wise mini-mocks cumulative tests and full-length JEE-style mock exams.
Perform error pattern analysis (conceptual gaps calculation errors memory lapses).
Maintain student performance trackers covering accuracy speed and topic mastery.
Use assessment data to design targeted remediation and enrichment pathways.
Build and maintain a curated question bank classified by concept difficulty and exam relevance.
Requirements
Masters degree in Chemistry.
Teaching qualification - .
Minimum 5 years teaching experience
5 years of experience teaching grade XI & XII for JEE Mains & Advance or NEET.
This is a full-time on-campus role requiring complete professional commitment.
Concurrent employment freelance work or private tuition during the academic year is not permitted.
Pursuing any regular academic programme (full-time or part-time) that interferes with school responsibilities is not permissible.
Candidates must be able to dedicate their time fully and professional focus to the school and students.
(Any short-term or online certifications must be disclosed at the time of application.)
