Job Summary

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This role ensures timely processing of transactions compliance with accounting standards and proper financial reporting particularly suited for the fast-paced F&B environment.

Key Responsibilities

Handle general accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries
Prepare and record daily sales cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory-related transactions
Monitor and reconcile bank statements supplier statements and petty cash
Assist in month-end and year-end closing of books
Prepare journal entries schedules and supporting documents
Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management reports
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding billing and payments
Ensure compliance with company policies accounting standards and government regulations
Support audit and tax requirements as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accountancy Accounting Technology or any related course
At least 13 years of relevant accounting experience preferably in the Food & Beverage industry
Knowledgeable in basic accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience handling inventory sales reporting and supplier reconciliation is an advantage
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems/software
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
Able to work independently and meet deadlines
Willing to work on-site in Manila
