SERVICE CARPENTER

LOCATION: Metro Detroit

Job Description
Were seeking dependable and experiencedCommercial Service Carpenterto join our this role youll be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair duties in commercial buildings. Youll have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively delivering high-quality service to our valued clients.

What Youll Do:

• Install repair and maintain doors windows cabinetry and trim work.

• Perform glazing work including the installation and replacement of commercial glass storefronts curtain walls and aluminum frames.

• Complete masonry repairs such as brick/block replacement tuckpointing concrete patching and mortar work.

• Perform basic electrical repairs (light fixtures switches outlets etc.).

• Perform light plumbing (clearing stoppages replacing fittings etc.).

• Build and repair structures such as partitions walls and flooring.

• Perform general maintenance as required.

• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local state and national building codes.

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Qualifications for the Job:

• Holds a valid drivers license.

• Experience as a carpenter glazer mason or general handyman.
