Qualifications
The Flo-Coat Operator will serve our Water Heating Division located in Montgomery AL.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to start up equipment and prepare flue bundles for coating.
- Positions flue bundles on turntable using power hoist and coats with spray gun.
- Removes flue bundles from turntable and places on monorail to go through furnace using power hoist.
- Scrapes all enamel splash and build up off back stop turntables motor housing and sides of vat.
- Hose down all machinery and shuts off equipment.
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
- Inspect units or parts for defects and workmanship.
- Observe all departmental safety requirements.
- Work from written or verbal orders.
- May be exposed to high noise levels.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Continuous lifting of 1-5 lbs.
- Frequent lifting of 5-25 lbs.
- Occasional lifting of 25-60 lbs.
- Must be able to stand walk and/or lift repetitively during shift.
