Job Summary:
We are looking for an experiencedRefrigerator Service Technicianto install troubleshoot repair and maintain refrigeration systems including commercial and domestic refrigerators freezers and cold storage units. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in refrigeration systems electrical troubleshooting and HVAC maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: Installation & Maintenance:
- Install service and repair refrigerators freezers and other cooling systems.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Check refrigerant levels clean condenser coils and replace worn-out components.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
- Diagnose and repair issues related to compressors condensers evaporators thermostats and electrical components.
- Identify refrigerant leaks and recharge systems as per industry standards.
- Address customer complaints and provide effective technical solutions.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct performance tests on refrigeration systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Use diagnostic tools to measure temperature pressure and electrical parameters.
- Ensure all repairs and installations comply with safety and industry regulations.
Inventory & Documentation:
- Maintain records of services performed parts used and customer interactions.
- Keep track of spare parts tools and refrigerants for efficient service delivery.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels for frequently used components.
Compliance & Safety:
- Follow company guidelines and safety protocols while handling refrigerants and electrical components.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations regarding refrigerant handling and disposal.
- Educate customers on proper refrigerator usage and maintenance practices.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Experience:3-4 years in refrigeration service repair and maintenance.
- Educational Qualification:ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning HVAC or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycles and system components.
- Experience with refrigerants (R134a R404a R600a etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Problem-Solving:Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and repair technical issues.
- Physical Fitness:Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in different environments.
- Communication Skills:Ability to explain issues and solutions to customers in a clear manner.
- License/Certification:F-Gas certification or equivalent (if required by local regulations).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience incommercial refrigeration systems(cold rooms ice machines display coolers etc.).
- Understanding ofelectrical systems and HVAC controls.
- Knowledge ofpreventive maintenance planning.
