JOB TITLE: Head Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach

REPORTS TO: ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

CALENDAR: ATHLETIC

SALARY RANGE: STIPEND

Basha High School is accepting applications for the position of Head Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach. We are seeking a dedicated educator-coach who is passionate about student development leadership and program building. The ideal candidate will be committed to developing student-athletes academically athletically and socially while establishing a sustainable and positive volleyball program aligned with Basha High Schools mission and vision.

MinimumQualifications(must possess or be able to obtain prior to employment):

1. Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety issued IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

2. NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certification

3. NFHS Concussion Course

4. NFHS Bullying Hazing and Inappropriate Behaviors Course

5. CPR/First Aid Certification

Core Functions:

• Leading and overseeing the Basha High School Girls Volleyball program

• Build a strong values-based volleyball program focused on character accountability and teamwork

• Develop student-athletes through skill instruction mentorship and leadership opportunities

• Establish a positive inclusive and growth-oriented team culture across all levels

• Support alignment between varsity junior varsity freshman and feeder programs

• Encourage academic success and personal responsibility among student-athletes

• Communicate effectively with student-athletes parents administration and staff

• Maintain a safe training environment and prioritizing student-athlete well-being

• Uphold all school district and AIA policies and expectations
