Agent Engagement Manager (AEM) Enterprise Deployments (Insurance AI)
Location: San Francisco (Onsite) or New York City (Remote for now)
Compensation: $180000 $230000 base salary
(High end aligned to post-MBA MBB levels; equity included)

The Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for a domain-specific AI company transforming the insurance industry. The company is seeking an Agent Engagement Manager (AEM) to ensure enterprise customers achieve rapid measurable value from its platform.
This role sits at the intersection of pre-sales and post-sales delivery. You will partner with Account Executives during evaluations to scope high-impact use cases then fully own implementation execution from kickoff through go-live adoption and early expansion.
This is not an account management role. The AEM is expected to operate as a hands-on deployment leaderdriving technical alignment organizational buy-in and real workflow change inside complex insurance organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates will be considered for interview based on demonstrated ability to perform the following responsibilities at a high level:

Own enterprise implementations end-to-end including kickoff discovery solution design configuration testing go-live and post-launch hypercare

Lead workshops with stakeholders across business operations and technical teams to map workflows and define measurable success

Develop project plans manage timelines and deliver against agreed milestones with executive-level visibility
-
Partner closely with Engineering to scope integrations troubleshoot technical issues and translate business needs into technical requirements
-
Drive adoption through training programs enablement and internal champion development
-
Navigate objections organizational resistance and competing priorities to keep deployments moving forward
-
Identify expansion opportunities across workflows and product lines partnering with Sales on upsell and cross-sell motions
-
Translate customer feedback into actionable product insights and advocate internally for platform improvements

Build scalable delivery playbooks templates and best practices to accelerate future deployments

Enterprise Implementation Leadership
Proven ability to lead complex SaaS or AI deployments managing scope dependencies stakeholder alignment and delivery governance (steering committees status reporting risk tracking).
Technical Fluency
Comfort engaging in discussions around APIs integrations data workflows and security/compliance constraints. You do not need to code but must be able to bridge business and engineering credibly.
Consultative Discovery & Solution Design
Skilled at uncovering operational pain points mapping insurance workflows and defining use cases that align platform capabilities to measurable outcomes.
Executive Presence & Presentation
Strong communication and room-commanding abilitywhether delivering steering committee updates leading kickoff sessions or training frontline users.
Objection Handling & Change Management
Experienced navigating skepticism resistance and change adoption challenges within large organizations.
Startup Builder Mindset
Able to thrive without heavy structure build processes from scratch and take ownership in ambiguous environments.
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
These qualifications are mandatory. Candidates who do not meet all requirements will not be considered.

MBB consulting background required (McKinsey Bain or BCG only)

Experience leading enterprise customer implementations or deployments (not pure account management)

Strong presentation skills with clear executive presence

Proven ability to handle objections and navigate organizational resistance

Insurance industry experience is required (carrier broker Insurtech or insurance consulting)
-
Technical fluency in integrations APIs and data workflow discussions

Willingness to be onsite in San Francisco or relocate to SF/NYC for full-time office work as the company scales

Demonstrated job longevity and track record of measurable impact
