North Lake serves as a vital center for Silver Lake Christmas Valley and Fort Rock providing a gathering place and fostering strong community ties. With 210 K-12 students it offers small classes personalized learning and boasts a 100% graduation rate and top OSAA Cup rankings. Students benefit from college credit and dual enrollment options while in high school. Additionally qualifying graduates are awarded up to $10000 for post-secondary education supported by the Bernard Daly Educational Fund a century-old Promise Scholarship the first place-based endowed scholarship in the nation. Robust CTE agriculture and FFA programs prepare students for college and careers while the district maintains strong finances and excellent facilities.
