Job Summary
Introduction
The Draughtsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings designs and schematics using CAD software ensuring that all designs meet engineering standards client specifications and regulatory requirements - We would prefer someone that has experience in drafting of poultry plant/abattoir
Ideal will be someone finishing off a contract and immediately available
Must be able to speak read and write English and Afrikaans fluantly
Duties & Responsibilities
* Drafting and design - Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings and designs using AutoCAD SolidWorks or other CAD software based on the engineering specifications. Assist in design modifications to improve the performance safety and environmental sustainability of products
* Site scanning and measurements
* GPS Surveying
* Labeling and confirmation of site equipment
* Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams
* Documentation and control - Maintain all design documents and drawings as per ISO9001 requirements for document control and revision management. Ensure that designs meet compliance with ISO45001 safety standards addressing any occupational health and safety risks
* Risk analysis and mitigration
* Process improvement/Continuous improvement
* Environmental and safety compliance
* Reporting
Desired Experience & Qualification
Diploma in Mechanical Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification in draughting
Certificatio in AutoCAD SolidWorks or relevant CAD software
Knowledge of ISO14001 ISO9001 and ISO45001 standards
3 years experience as a Draughtsman in an Engineering or construction environment
MUST HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF PLANT3d REVIT AND ADVANCED STEEL
Ideal will be someone finishing off a contract and immediately available
Package & Remuneration
R25 000 to R40 000pm depending on experience
