We are looking for a purpose-driven Account Manager who can hit the ground running and is highly motivated to make a positive impact in the commercial real estate industry. This person will manage and grow key commercial relationships in a diverse stakeholder landscape combining strong commercial instincts with structured account management and a passion for helping our customers win.
As Account Manager at Next Sense you will:
Manage some of the most exciting companies of the industry (ING Vastint EDGE Merlin Schroders a.o. and/or leading global tech luxury or food delivery companies);
Work closely with senior commercial and technical stakeholders (including the CEO and management team);
Get lots of responsibility and freedom trusting you take ownership and start adding value from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Effectively manage and grow a portfolio of key clients. Be the champion of your accounts and represent them and their needs internally making sure they stay happy and want to expand with us.
Continuously show our customers the added value we bring and translate this into understandable business cases to trigger expansion opportunities.
Navigate complex stakeholder environments and decision-making structures.
Develop negotiation strategies for clients and oversee the negotiation process and contract discussions to secure profitable and sustainable contracts.
Continuously identify and qualify upsell and expansion opportunities within your portfolio of accounts.
Identify and document customer needs and pains and use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products.
Act as a trusted commercial partner to clients balancing relationship and operational work with a focus on sustainable commercial outcomes.
Contribute to the professionalization and scaling of the commercial organization by initiating process improvements to scale Next Sense.
Work closely with Marketing and Data & AI teams to ensure brand consistency and market penetration.
About you
35 years experience in commercial real estate (asset-related commercial roles leasing advisory proptech account management customer success etc.).
Strong understanding of multi-stakeholder CRE environment.
Languages: Dutch (native or fluent) English (fluent) German (professional working proficiency).
Proven commercial track record (revenue responsibility deals closed account growth).
Tech-savvy and comfortable working with data tools AI and digital products.
Proactive ambitious structured and self-driven.
Eager to learn and grow in a high-performance and dynamic environment.
Strong communication and presentation skills ability to represent Next Sense internally as well as externally.
Passionate to make a positive contribution to the Commercial Real Estate industry.
Nice-to-Have
Experience in proptech or tech-enabled environments
Experience working with enterprise or institutional real estate clients
Background in scale-up or fast-growing organizations
Compensation & Benefits
Bonus up to 20% of annual salary on top of a suitable and competitive salary.
A one-year contract with the intention to extend (as this is a permanent position).
Holiday pay (8% off the gross salary).
27 vacation days per calendar year.
