The AI Developer is a hands-on role responsible for implementing and operating AI-enabled solutions that support Armadas business goals. This role focuses on turning ideas into working systems using Microsofts AI and automation tools integrating AI into real workflows and keeping solutions reliable and maintainable over time. You will spend more time configuring automating and connecting systems than writing custom code. The goal is to move fast without creating fragile or disposable solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build AI-enabled workflows and tools
    • Implement AI agents using Copilot Studio
    • Automate processes with Power Automate
    • Integrate AI outputs into operational workflows and decision processes
  • Work within Microsoft Fabric
    • Create and maintain Fabric assets that support AI use cases
    • Use notebooks for data preparation experimentation and light ML tasks
    • Consume and operationalize models developed by internal teams or partners
  • Support day-to-day AI operations
    • Manage configurations environments and integrations
    • Handle light MLOps responsibilities such as monitoring and coordination
    • Troubleshoot issues and improve reliability over time
  • Implement solutions with long-term sanity in mind
    • Reuse existing patterns and components where reasonable
    • Avoid brittle hard-coded implementations unless speed or constraints demand it
    • Raise concerns early when solutions are likely to create maintenance problems
  • Support vendor tools when adopted
    • Configure and manage off-the-shelf AI platforms as needed
    • Integrate them cleanly into Armadas workflows and data landscape
    • Help assess whether tools are delivering value or just adding complexity

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer information systems or related field and/or proven knowledge & skill in AI ML and analytics.
  • Minimum five years of experience with at least 1 in AI solution development and delivery.
  • Recent experience working with Azure Fabric and Power Platform.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and determine the most cost-effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships to communicate clearly orally and in writing and to influence when incumbent has no formal authority.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to senior level professionals

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing end-to-end AI-enabled or data-driven solutions in a cloud environment accounting for considerations such as:
    • Cost efficiency and performance
    • Monitoring and troubleshooting
    • Security and access controls
    • Data storage and access patterns
    • Orchestration and automation
  • Hands-on experience with automation and AI tooling including:
    • Power Automate
    • Copilot Studio
    • API-based integrations
  • Experience working within modern analytics or data platforms such as:
    • Microsoft Fabric (preferred)
    • Cloud-based data warehouses or lakehouse architectures
  • Practical familiarity with analytics and development tools including:
    • SQL
    • Python (for scripting notebooks or light ML tasks)
  • Other analytics or automation tools as needed
  • Working understanding of AI and ML concepts sufficient to:
    • Implement and operationalize existing models
    • Monitor and evaluate AI outputs
    • Support light MLOps activities without building models from scratch
