About the Team
Walmarts Global Tech & Data Compliance team is the cornerstone of our commitment to customer trust. We manage and monitor privacy policies controls and compliance programs across all retail markets sourcing and marketplace operations worldwide. Our team leads risk analysis policy development and compliance training collaborating with technology business and Global Governance partners to implement effective risk mitigation strategies and continuously enhance our processes to meet evolving global regulations across the digital landscape.

What youll do...

  • Direct the global privacy compliance program ensuring alignment with international and domestic laws (e.g. GDPR CCPA PIPL PIPEDA COPPA TCPA and emerging regulations and frameworks).
  • Partner with senior leadership to communicate compliance strategies address regulatory gaps and deliver innovative business-aligned solutions.
  • Develop and implement forward-thinking policies procedures and training programs to proactively manage compliance risks and regulatory changes.
  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of technological solutions to strengthen privacy controls and data protection.
  • Oversee key performance metrics conduct comprehensive gap analyses and report on program effectiveness to executive stakeholders.
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships and global collaboration to ensure organizational alignment and drive business objectives.
  • Champion a culture of integrity ethical standards and continuous improvement by modeling best practices and supporting workforce development.
What Youll Bring
  • Degree in a technical field process management or improvement or law AND 5 years of relevant work experience in domestic or international privacy compliance OR 7 years of relevant work experience in domestic or international privacy compliance within complex multinational organizations.
  • Demonstrated success implementing international privacy frameworks and regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA PIPL PIPEDA COPPA TCPA and emerging regulations and frameworks).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain required privacy controls to a diverse set of stakeholders in a variety of business and technical functions.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building mentoring and inspiring high-performing diverse teams.
  • Experience working with technical and business teams (Product Engineering) to develop implement compliance controls into applications.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to improve processes and drive decisions leveraging strong business judgment critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Unwavering commitment to integrity ethical standards and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning

The annual salary range for this position is $110000.00 - $220000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Human Resources or related field and 5 years experience in compliance ethics legal project management or related area OR 7 years experience in compliance ethics legal project management or related area. 3 years supervisory experience. 4 years experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
