Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified and dynamic CBSE Economics & Entrepreneurship Teacher to deliver Class XIXII Economics and Entrepreneurship in alignment with NCERT textbooks CBSE assessment schemes and experiential learning mandates. The role requires strong subject mastery project-based pedagogy and the ability to integrate current affairs data analysis and real-world business contexts into classroom instruction.
The educator will play a key role in fostering economic literacy analytical thinking and entrepreneurial mindset while ensuring compliance with CBSE academic standards and internal assessment protocols.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Complete Economics and Entrepreneurship syllabi as per the CBSE academic calendar and NCERT content standards.
Design supervise and evaluate project work and internal assessments in strict adherence to CBSE guidelines including documentation and viva protocols.
Ensure measurable student outcomes including board exam performance internal assessment scores and quality of entrepreneurship projects.
Integrate current affairs economic data and real-world case studies into teaching and assessment.
Core Teaching & Academic Responsibilities
Curriculum Planning & Instruction
Plan lessons aligned to NCERT learning outcomes and CBSE competency descriptors with clear learning objectives and success criteria.
Use case studies data response tasks and application-based learning to teach core economics concepts.
Deliver Entrepreneurship modules through structured frameworks such as business model canvases cost structures and market analysis.
Employ experiential pedagogy (role plays simulations group projects) to teach market mechanisms and financial fundamentals.
Assessment Projects & Board Exam Preparation
Design concept-based assessments aligned to CBSE question formats including:
Prepare students for board exam patterns including structured answers and model response writing.
Supervise Entrepreneurship projects ensuring proper research methods referencing originality and documentation.
Conduct project vivas following CBSE rubrics and protocols.
Assessment Diagnostics & Performance Tracking
Conduct periodic diagnostic and formative assessments to track conceptual understanding.
Maintain student progress records for academics and internal assessments.
Share clear actionable performance reports with parents and academic leadership.
Use assessment data to provide targeted academic support and enrichment.
Requirements
Desired Qualifications & Profile
Postgraduate degree in Economics / Business Studies / Commerce / Management / Entrepreneurship or related fields.

Proven experience teaching CBSE Economics and/or Entrepreneurship at Senior Secondary level for minimum of 5 years.
Strong command over NCERT curriculum CBSE assessment schemes and project evaluation.
Ability to integrate current affairs data analysis and experiential learning effectively.
Student-centric organized and professionally accountable.
Employment Commitment Requirement
Full-Time On-Campus Role: This is a full-time on-campus position requiring complete professional commitment to the school.
Exclusivity of Service: Concurrent employment freelance work or private tuition during the academic year is strictly not permitted.
Academic Restrictions: Pursuing any regular academic programme (full-time or part-time) that interferes with school responsibilities is not permissible.
