Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree from an accredited institution.
  • One (1) year of project and associated budget management experience.
  • Valid Florida drivers license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
  • Three (3) years of project and associated budget management experience.
  • Experience managing business/department functions and staff.

Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy minimum qualifications.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills; organizational and management skills.
  • Knowledge of pertinent regulations policies and procedures for the functional area of assignment.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA Public Records Sunshine Law FERPA and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy public information and records retention.
  • Knowledge of and experience with industry-standard equipment materials practices computers and applications.
  • Ability to assist and coordinate personnel in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale.
  • Ability to professionally and effectively respond to customer needs and requests for service or assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Determine and implement procedures for project activities accomplishments staffing requirements and allocation of resources.
  • Confer with appropriate personnel to outline project plans with appropriate resources and scope of authority.
  • Develop detailed plans for assigned projects to include critical milestones and measurements.
  • Prepare project progress reports.
  • Develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring projects.
  • Verify that work assigned is completed to specifications.
  • Oversee incoming shipping activities to ensure accuracy completeness and condition of shipment.
  • Maintain a complete and systematic set of records of all financial transactions.
  • Follow District policies and procedures on financial transactions and procedure compliance and accountability.
  • Coordinate business and operational agreements used in schools and departments.
  • Coordinate purchasing and receiving activities.
  • Inspect methods and processes; take corrective action as required.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for specific projects.
