As a Health Plan Nurse at Apple Valley Village Health Care Center you will serve as a liaison to residents insurance benefits while supporting the Case Manager with Medicare scheduling monthly billing charting and notices of non-coverage. Youll collaborate with Admissions the Case Manager and the Supply Coordinator lead Medicare team meetings ensure physician certifications are obtained and perform additional duties as needed to support quality care and compliance.

Position Type: Full-Time benefit eligible position. You will also be a part of the Nurse Manager Weekend and Holiday rotation.

Shift Available:
Tuesday - Friday Days

Wage Range: $42 - $48 / hour depending on experience

Health Plan Nurse Responsibilities:

• Liaison to the patients insurance benefits
• AssistCase Manager with Medicare scheduling monthly billing charting and issuing notices of non-coverage.
• Workin collaboration with Admissions staff Case Manager and Supply Coordinator.
• Leading the Medicare team meetings
• Physicians certifications are obtained
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

• RN license in the state of Minnesota required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience preferably in TCU.
• Utilization Management preferred.
• MDS experience preferred.
• Capable of multitasking and staying organized.
• Experience with Medicare and patients insurance preferred.
• Proficient in computer software.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
