As Senior Analyst Statutory Reporting and Compliance CoE (m/w/d) you are responsible for the execution of statutory audits and financial reporting preparation across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with relevant accounting standards local regulatory requirements and LS&Co. internal policies. Youll actively lead the statutory audit process working with local auditors external service providers and internal teams to ensure quality deliverables and track completion / filing dates.

About the Job

Statutory Audit and Reporting

Manage the statutory audit and financial reporting for a portfolio of LS&Co legal entities in accordance with IFRS / local GAAP including audit planning scheduling information deliverables and auditor requests monitoring progress and escalations.
Review of statutory financial statements including GAAP adjustments and reconciliation accounting policies financial statement audit disclosures business commentary audit closure and filings ensuring approval from directors and signatories.
Coordinate with internal tax payroll and legal teams for audit deliverables and questions.
Build and maintain effective relationships and drive process improvement and new approaches with internal teams external auditors and third-party vendors to support timely and accurate preparation of financial statements

Compliance & Governance

Ensure statutory reporting meets with all SOX internal controls and accounting and reporting requirements
Deal with complex accounting reporting and audit issues including consolidation derivatives revenue recognition and leasing.
Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory frameworks providing timely advice and solutions to stakeholders
Maintain high-quality and structured documentation and controls to support audit and regulatory reviews

Data Quality & Process Improvement

Drive consistency and data quality standards across the global compliance processes with global accounting partners
Identify and resolve data integrity issues impacting audit and reporting documentation and statutory returns
Leading role in the creation and optimization of tools and processes for advanced knowledge management efficient reporting and compliance.

Stakeholder Relations

Foster strong communication and collaborative relationships with internal teams including Global Controllership Global Accounting Cluster Finance Corporate Tax ESG and Legal and other compliance teams.
Ability to clearly communicate complex and technical accounting and audit issues to stakeholders
Facilitate training and guidance on statutory reporting requirements and systems

Team Collaboration

Drive collaboration within the Statutory Compliance COE team across locations fostering team motivation and ensuring the effective execution of the global compliance program.
Oversee and mentor junior COE team members to enhance their performance and development.
Contribute to fostering a culture of open communication collaboration and accountability

About You

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA ACCA CPA) or working towards qualification
At least 5 years of experience in statutory reporting financial compliance or audit ideally within multinational companies or Big 4
Strong knowledge of IFRS and regulatory frameworks
Experience with SAP S4/HANA is preferred.

This is a hybrid position based in our Warsaw office. You will be expected to be in the office three days per week though time in office may vary depending on business needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is 195400 - 260500 pln per year. The amount an employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education qualifications performance and our needs. Salary ranges may vary by location and currency. Where roles are advertised across multiple locations local ranges will apply.
