This newly created role will provide technical leadership and operational planning expertise for the companys underground mining operations and projects. The Chief Underground Mine Planning will be responsible for the development optimization and governance of short- medium- and long-term underground mine plans ensuring alignment with safety production cost and strategic objectives. Acting as the chief for underground mine planning this role is critical to delivering executable mine plans that support robust project studies and value maximization throughout the life of mine.

Key Responsibilities
Underground Mine Planning
Develop and maintain life-of-mine (LOM) long-term medium-term and short-term mine plans.
Define and optimize mining sequences extraction strategies and production schedules.
Ensure mine plans are executable and aligned with operational capabilities and safety standards.
Scheduling & Production Control
Prepare detailed production schedules and rolling forecasts.
Project Development
Provide underground mine planning inputs to conceptual PEA PFS and FS studies.
Position Requirements
Bachelors degree in Mine Engineering (required).
Minimum 10 years of experience in underground mine planning Strong experience withDeswik.
Fluency in English is a strong asset; Spanish is a strong asset.
Willingness to travel regularly across Colombian sites.
