MainResponsibilities
- Compile and organizedataprovided by clients such as invoices receipts bankstatements.
- Record financial transactions in the accounting software.
- Evaluate and analyzefinancial and operating reports and data.
- Reconcile bank statements and implement actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Updateverifyandmaintainaccounting journals and ledgers and other financialrecords.
- Coordinate with the Tax Department and other businesslinesas necessary.
- Comply withUS GAAP and ethics.
- Special projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain the chart ofaccounts.
- Maintain an orderly accounting filingsystem.
- Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system.
- Ensure all the service tickets show the real and correct status.
- Perform accounting functions to support supervisors.
- SubmitaccurateTimesheet weekly.
- Use andmaintainupdated records of the tasks at the corresponding technological solutions used(Canopyor any other according to IT instructions).
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Lead a Team of Junior Accountants when assigned;being responsible fortheir performance anddevelopment.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
- GPA or General Average: 8
- Competency in QuickBooks is aplus.
- Prior experience in accounting ispreferredto beatleast4years.
- Bilingual- English and Spanish .
Skills
- Effective (fluid and assertive)writtencommunication.
- Outstanding ability to compute figures rapidly andaccurately.
- Must be flexible to quickly shiftpriorities.
