Job Summary
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Plant Maintenance Mechanic - Loader Operator for our Rochester NY facility. This role primarily supports the production of ready-mix concrete by performing routine plant and equipment maintenance across multiple sites in the greater Rochester area.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance including greasing cutting welding and servicing air/pneumatic systems.
Maintain and repair conveyor belts and conveying systems.
Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and automated batching systems (a plus).
Operate a front-end loader to supply the batch plant with aggregates and other materials.
Travel to various facilities as needed to support operations.
Follow all Heidelberg Safety protocols.
Ideal candidates will have experience in plant maintenance equipment operation and basic mechanical repairs. Electrical knowledge is a plus.

What Youll Be Doing

Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination drug/alcohol screen and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level.
What We Offer
- $27.57 to $29.57 per hour.
