Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate is a quick thinker decision-maker and multitasker who can adapt to the fast-paced unpredictable environment of the Emergency Department. You will provide nursing care for patients ranging from minor injuries to critically ill cases working collaboratively within a supportive team to ensure excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Triage assess and treat patients of all ages.
Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans.
Manage multiple cases simultaneously prioritizing patient needs.
Provide follow-up care instructions and make necessary referrals.
Coordinate care with physicians and other departments maintaining patient safety and focus.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ER RN experience (Critical Care experience accepted).
Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or approved multistate/compact RN license (compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license).
Associate Degree or RN Diploma.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to start.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of start.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or ACLS Instructor certification within 90 days of start.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or PALS Instructor certification within 90 days of start.
