Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:The Department of Neurology is seeking Postdoctoral Scholar. This position analyzes proteomic data from rats to find the biomarkers and their validation using human sample
Responsibilities
Analyzes proteomic data including database curation peptide identification protein quantification and the discovery of novel biomarkers in plasma samples from rat models and human subjects.
Analyzes ELISA data from human samples.
Implement software pipelines machine learning methods optimize existing computational methods and validate these approaches using relevant datasets.
Contributes to manuscript preparation.
Assists with data management tasks.
Participate in group meetings and presentations as needed.
Supports collaborative projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Doctoral Degree. Programming skills in languages such as Python or R. Knowledge of statistics machine learning and data mining techniques. Experience in the analysis of large dataset
