Job Summary

IMC is currently hiring aRegistered Nurse - ICUwho under the general supervision of the Unit Director and with the authorityof the Chief Nursing Officer will apply nursing process (assessment planningintervention and evaluation) in caring for patients. Effectively interactwith patient significant others and other heath team knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physicalpsycho/social education safety and related criteria for the newbornpediatric adolescent adult and geriatric population
EDUCATION
- Graduate of state approved RN School of nursing.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
- Current license as a RN in the State of Louisiana Current CPR certification
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
- Basic knowledge of the nursing process and nursing principles.
- Basic knowledge of biology and chemistry.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Thorough knowledge of nursing procedures.
- Ability to supervise and direct other team members in an effective manner.
