We are seekinga passionateIT Infrastructure Architectto join our team. As a key member oftheAscendis Pharmateam you will play a crucial role inensuring scalable and secure solutions and aligning with architectural standards and setting the strategic direction.

Youwill be joining theInfrastructure & SmartOffice team and report directly to Jakob Monajemzadeh Thrane People Leader in Global ITbasedin Hellerup. You will also be based in Hellerup.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Act as subject matter expert (SME) within Microsoft server ecosystems virtualization storage and networking.

Guide engineering teams through deployment configuration and troubleshooting of infrastructure solutions.

Support complex root cause analysis andadviceon performance optimization.

Lead technical assessmentsPoCs and platform upgrade strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold a relevant academic degreewith 5 years of experience in a similar role preferablyfrom a regulated industry.

Experience from a fastgrowing organization andexperiencewith agile or productoriented methodologies will be considered an advantage.

Furthermoreyou have:

Strong understanding of virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere Hyper V).

Solid experience with enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) data protection and DR solutions.

Strong foundationin networking: TCP/IP routing VLANs firewalls load balancing.

Deep experience in Microsoft infrastructure platforms (AD DS Windows Server Azure AD).

Scripting and automation experience.

Key competencies:
