What Youll Do
Data Pipeline & Integration Development
- DesignbuildandmaintainscalabledatapipelinestoingesthealthcaredatafromcustomerEHRsystemsandhospitaldatabases.
- Developintegrationsusing:
- RESTAPIsandwebhook-drivenworkflows
- Databaselogshippingandchangedatacapture(CDC)mechanismsincludingMicrosoftSQLServerbasedsystems
- TransformvalidateandnormalizeincomingclinicaldatabeforeloadingitintoCircadiasMySQLandSnowflakeenvironments.
- Ensurepipelinesarerobustfault-tolerantandcapableofhandlinglargedatavolumes.
Healthcare Data & EHR Integrations
- Integrateandmanagehealthcaredatadomainsincluding:
- AdmissionsDischargesTransfers(ADT)
- Conditionsmedicationsallergies
- Clinicalnotesandprogressnotes
- Vitalsignsandphysiologicalmeasurements
- Workwithhealthcareinteroperabilitystandardsandprotocolssuchas:
- HL7v2
- FHIR
- Partnerwithcustomertechnicalteamstosupportonboardingtroubleshootingandongoingdatareliability.
Data Platforms & Warehousing
- TakeownershipofCircadiasoperationaldatabasesandanalyticaldatawarehouses.
- Designschemasandtransformationsthatsupportbothreal-timeapplicationneedsanddownstreamanalyticsandMLworkloads.
- OptimizeperformancecostandscalabilitywithinSnowflakeandMySQL.
Cloud Deployment & Operations
- DeployandoperatedatapipelinesandservicesinAWS.

Security Compliance & Data Quality

- ApplybestpracticesforhandlingProtectedHealthInformation(PHI)includingaccesscontrolencryptionandauditlogging.
- Maintaincleardocumentationofdataflowstransformationsandoperationalprocesses.

MustHave Qualifications
- 5yearsofexperienceinDataEngineeringBackendEngineeringoracloselyrelatedrole.
- StrongproficiencyinPythonfordatapipelineandbackenddevelopment.
- StrongproficiencyinSQL.
- Hands-onexperiencewithMySQLandSnowflakeincludingschemadesignandperformanceoptimization.
- ExperienceintegratingdatafromMicrosoftSQLServerincludinglogshippingorCDC-styleapproaches.
- Experiencebuildinghigh-throughputdatapipelinesfromingestionthroughtransformationandstorage.
- Experiencedeployingandoperatingproductionsystemsinamajorcloudprovider(AWSpreferred).
- FamiliaritywithAPIswebhooksandevent-drivenarchitectures.
- Experienceworkingwithsensitiveorregulateddata.
