The Caregiver Coach will help deliver high-quality compassionate care to ourclients. This role is a hybrid of a caregiver and a supervisor potentially providing direct care while also serving as a mentor a resource and a quality control point for a specific group of caregivers. The ideal candidate will be an experienced caregiver with strong Coaching skills and a passion for helping others succeed. They are expected to be in the office no more than 10 hours per week. This is a part-time hourly role. Weekly hours are based on the case load of the office.
Client Drop-ins
The Caregiver Coach will drop-in to visit clients and caregivers. Expectation is 10-15 per week.
Caregiver Training
The Caregiver Coach will develop organize and hold weekly caregiver trainings.
The Caregiver Coach will be responsible for Caregiver CE trainings.
Recruiting Hiring Orientation and On-Boarding
Caregiver Coach will do phone screens interviews and help out in the Recruiting and Hiring process.
The Caregiver Coach will participate in orientation and on-boarding of new caregivers and provide the new caregivers a comfortable and enthusiastic environment to learn while providing key information about the company clients and Sunlight work processes.
Caregiver retention:
Contact ALL new caregivers 1 time per week for the first month after the new caregiver begins. The first 90 days are pivotal for caregiver retention with an emphasis on the beginning 30 days. Caregivers who have a strong start and a good initial experience will be more willing to flow through some inevitable ups and downs
Team/Office Support:
The Caregiver Coach is in a key role in supporting the operations of the office.
Caregiver Coaches will answer the phones.
Meetings.
Caregiver Coaches will participate in all scheduling and team meetings and brief on the training schedule for each client.
Weekend On-call:
Weekends the Caregiver Coach will rotate with other team members. If an employee fills-in a call out they will get mileage and a $20 BONUS per fill-in.

Minimum 3 years experience preferred.
High School Diploma or GED
At least 19 years old
Be able to lift 50lbs.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Excellent communication skills and ability to provide a high level of customer service in a fast- paced environment.
High degree of professionalism attention to detail and effectiveness.
Trouble- shooting prioritizing and organizational skills essential.
Experience with private residence in home care scheduling.
Demonstrate excellent observation verbal and written communication skills.
Licensed driver with automobile that is insurance in accordance with organizations requirement and is in good working order.
Demonstrates tact patience and good personal hygiene.
Empathy for the needs of others.
Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
Ability to read and follow written instructions.
