What will the work look like for me
- Develop and maintain software applications likely utilizing the following:
- C# TypeScript JavaScript
- Microservices Kubernetes AspNet Core Azure REST
- HTML 5 Angular WPF
- SQL XML JSON and related technologies.
- Work in Team centric environment grounded in Agile values and principles continuously evolving our practices:
- Iterative development in Sprint based cycles.
- Scrum Stand-ups and Product Backlog Planning Events.
- Continuous Integration and Delivery Pipelines.
- Use tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps Git GitHub Copilot Microsoft Teams.
- Seek and incorporate feedback from team members stakeholders and customers.
- Leverage experience by asking insightful questions to help clarify the work while openly seeking input from others.
- Leverage retrospectives and experiments in continuous improvement.
- Frequent product demonstrations and integration events with stakeholders/customers.
- Troubleshoot and address customer escalations and improvement opportunities.
Where is this opportunity located
Position has the opportunity to work from a home office based in the greater Monterrey Mexico area. This position is open to candidates eligible to work in Mexico.
Qualifications
To be considered for Senior Software Developer we require the following:
- Bachelors degree in Computer/Software Engineering Computer Science or a related field with advanced programming curriculum.
- 6 years industry experience in Software development using an object-oriented language and developing web-based applications.
- Experience utilizing Agile practices to include Scrum CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Collaborate with our global engineering teams in central standard time (CST) for agile sprints.
- Experience working in a global team-oriented collaborative environment and building effective relationships.
- Approachable respected engineer by both peers and leaders.
- Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
- Be self-motivated and curious to learn and grow throughout your entire career.
- Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Quiet work environment that supports privacy with strong internet connection to support frequent video and screen sharing for paired programming.
- Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid drivers license and good driving record.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal.

- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Mexico.
