Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Floor Technician to join our Flagship team! This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness appearance and safety of our client facility floors ensuring a safe and pleasant environment.Benefits:

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of floors including sweeping mopping scrubbing buffing and waxing.
Operate and maintain specialized floor care equipment such as buffers scrubbers extractors and burnishers.
Respond promptly to spills and other floor-related maintenance needs to ensure safety and prevent accidents.
Apply appropriate floor finishes and treatments according to established procedures.
Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional care or repairs.
Dispose of waste materials and follow proper cleaning protocols.
Assist with carpet cleaning spot treatments and stain removal as necessary.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies.
Work collaboratively with custodial and maintenance teams to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
6 or more months experience as a floor technician or in janitorial services is required.
Knowledge of floor care equipment chemicals and safety procedures.
Ability to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Completion of significant safety training is required.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to perform the following repetitive movements: stand walk sit use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls reach with hands and arms climb stairs balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl talk or hear. Ability to stand walk and sit for long periods of time including the ability to walk long distances. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move a minimum of 40 pounds of office and facilities equipment (cleaning products tools and ladders) and trash and the ability to safely use the equipment provided. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
