Raytheon is seeking a SATCOM Helpdesk Support Technician to work in Colorado Springs partially on a customer site and partially remote.

What You Will Do

• Provide technical assistance as part of a SATCOM helpdesk team.
• Maintain repair and upgrade EHF/AEHF SATCOM Systems.
• Conduct site surveys installations integration and acceptance testing of EHF/AEHF SATCOM systems.
• Interface directly with the customer work independently or as part of a team and provide written status to management.
• Travel up to 25% of the time both CONUS and OCONUS interface directly with the customer work independently or as part of a team and provide written status to management

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a bachelors in science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a higher clearance level after start.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repair of SATCOM systems including two (2) years combined experience on Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) SATCOM systems.
• Experience reading and interpreting procedures work instructions schematics diagrams and assembly instructions.
• Experience using hand and power tools and electrical/electronic test equipment.
• Experience working in a military environment.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prefer a local candidate.
• Experience working with the Family of Advanced Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminals (FAB-T) or Global Aircrew Strategic Network Terminal (GASN-T).
• Active duty or reserve military experience is desirable but not required.
• Experience working in the field independently as a Field Service Engineer or representative a plus.
• Experience with MS Office products including Excel Word Access Power Point and Visio.
• A Bachelors Degree in a Technical Field and 2 years relevant experience OR an Associates degree and 6 years of relevant experience OR at least 10 years relevant experience with no degree. Relevant experience includes military experience on similar complex SATCOM equipment.
• Excellent written and oral skills.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSACAS) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 86800 USD - 165200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
