Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Uphold a high team standard of work with a safety-first mindset
• Perform general cleanup of the shop yard and machines focusing on 5S and Caterpillar Contamination Control initiatives.
• Wash and detail equipment and service trucks
• Run parts and tooling to field sites to technicians
• Perform tasks outside core competency learn new skills as needed complete tasks promptly and provide feedback to stakeholders
• Assist mechanics where needed

Qualifications:

• Completion of grade 12
• Positive attitude eagerness to learn new skills.
• Team player comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in workplace safety hazard evaluation and pre-work task planning
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration at all levels
• Desire to be part of a world-class team focused on achieving results

Note:

• This shop position is on a 14x14 rotation based out of our Mildred Lake shop facility
• Physical requirement ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs.
• Valid Drivers License with successful recent driver abstract due to safety requirements must be minimum 21 years of age
• Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement
• Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
