The roleis responsible forproviding responsive consistentsupportand guidance to Medical Workforce teams across the Region. The postholder will coordinate key regional Medical Workforce processes with a particular focus onConsultantemployment control activity (RCECC/CAAC and associated system updates) acting as a central liaison between sites NDTP and National ClinicalProgrammeLeads to progress applications and resolve queries. The position requires a collaborative and supportive approach to the ongoing development of the Regional Medical Workforce service including developing andmaintainingrobust tracking systems and datasets producingtimelymanagement information and reports and contributing to continuous quality improvementinnovationand the implementation of change to supportorganisationaldevelopments in Medical Workforce.
Essential Criteria
Candidates must have by the closing date ofapplication:
- AthirdlevelqualificationpreferablyinHumanResourcesorHealthServicesManagement or other relevant qualification (Quality & Qualifications Ireland Level 8 or equivalent) and/or professional membership CIPD would be anadvantage).
AND
- 5 years experience at a mid to senior level in a Human Resource management role including developingmanagingand delivering effective HR Strategies preferably includingmedical workforce experience.
AND
- A track recordof successful leadership including a record ofdelivering change through strong interpersonal and communicationsability.
AND
- Experienceofmanagingandworkingcollaborativelywith multipleinternalandexternal stakeholders as relevant to therole.
AND
- Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitabilityand management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of theoffice
Health
A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as wouldindicatea reasonable prospect of ability torenderregular and efficient service.
Character
Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character.
