What does a great Implementation Analyst do

As an Implementation Analyst (Business Banking) Advisory I on the Digital Solutions Abiliti implementation team you will lead and be responsible for client implementations training consulting and supporting client throughout the project life cycle. Implementations may be part of a larger conversion or a single product installation. As part of the role the analyst will build relationships across various groups across Fiserv to deliver solutions. Examples of products you may be implementing revolve primarily around online banking products including but not limited to mobile mobile deposits ACH wires alerting web site positive pay tokens etc.

As a Business Banking SME the analyst may be responsible for an overall client implementation across retail and business or may also work on highly complex business banking aspects across a portfolio of addition to responsibilities of an Implementation Analyst overall the Business Banking Implementation Analyst should be able to configure and/or troubleshoot business banking features engage with clients on potential process changes and guide other Implementation Analysts with their projects and business banking scope items.

What you will do:

  • Lead multiple implementation projects with defined timelines for Fiserv clients via phone email and web-based contact channels with minimal supervision. Projects typically are multiphase including analysis configuration training testing and support.

  • Thoroughly track organize document and communicate all product implementation related activities for each client.

  • Act as liaison between various parties for projects that involve multiple product offerings or interfaces for Fiserv and third-party vendors.

  • Develop and maintain a full understanding of Fiserv products and services and stay abreast of relevant industry trends and best practices

  • Be a subject matter expert in the products that you are tasked with implementing including being able to resolve product and/or technical issues including highly complex functionality that may require knowledge of interdependent systems and components.

  • Walk clients through setup testing and procedures including conducting training and client presentations.

  • Provide after-hours support as well as ability to adjust shift and work additional hours to support client implementations.

  • Provide technical and product assistance and support to other Implementation Analysts and various Fiserv teams.

  • Define implementation procedures and assist with client-facing documentation/training materials.

  • Lead initiatives designed to drive efficiencies and/or higher quality implementations based on key areas of expertise.

  • Projects may also include data mapping code validations and go live support via phone or client onsite support.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will need to have:

  • Degree in Finance Accounting Business Computer Science or Management Information Systems (or equivalent experience.

  • 6 years of experience with Commercial/Business Banking either at a Financial Institution or at a Financial Services corporation serving banks or credit unions.

  • 5 years of with customer-facing projects or in a client support role

  • Financial Services Industry experience.

  • Proficient core computer skills (ex Microsoft Office moving files between systems Windows basics).

  • Strong communication including written oral and presentation skills to be able to communicate project status product details as well as technical specifications.

  • Strong research problem solving and analytical skills to determine appropriate options for resolving clients issues.

  • Able to work with minimal direction based on knowledge of responsibilities and priorities as well as guide others based on their responsibilities/priorities.

What would be great to have:

  • Fiserv core or Online Banking experience.

  • Time management skills to work on multiple projects and effectively meet deadlines.

  • Basic networking and data communication understanding is beneficial.

  • Project Management experience and/or PMP certification.
