We are currently seeking a Pharmacist in the Jesup GA area. This position is in a federal correctional environment.
Pay:$72.00-$75.00 per hour.
Location:FCI Jesup; Jesup GA.
Pharmacy hours: Monday-Friday between 7:30AM-4:00PM.
Responsibilities:
- Interpretation of medical/dental staff prescription orders. These orders may be the traditional physical prescription or orders taken from entries in the patients medical file.
- Selecting the correct medication and filling the prescription.
- Entering prescriptions into the pharmacys prescription computer system and printing prescription labels.
- Inventorying medications and supplies recording items that are low and in stocking levels and advising staff of medications that need ordering.
- Interacting with inmates regarding their medication(s) and providing patient education about the medication(s).
Qualifications:
- At a minimum the Pharmacist must be a graduate of an accredited school of higher education as a pharmacist.
- Must have a current license to practice in any state in the United States.
