About the Candidate/ Role
Tradewind Aviation is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic to work out of our base location in Stuart FL. The individual should be attentive to detail and have exceptional problem solving and diverse mechanical skills. Must be flexible with work schedule this position will begin on the night shift with a strong likelihood of transitioning to the third shift once proper training has been completed. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
Performing all airframe and powerplant maintenance on our fleet of turboprop aircraft
Maintaining hangar equipment
Performing other assigned duties
Qualifications
FAA A&P license (2 Years of experience preferred)
Valid US Drivers License Clean Driving Record
Valid passport without travel restrictions
Eagerness to learn and willingness to train.
Required to maintain an adequate set of tools.
Must be willing to travel to various parts of the Caribbean and the Northeast US for short periods of time.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Strength to lift 50lbs and the ability to work in confined spaces.
