About the role

Llys Enfys is an Extra Care scheme for over 50swithcare or support needsthat blends the freedom of independent living with the reassurance of on-site support. There are over 100 self-contained flats for the valued residents.

As Food Service Assistantyoullsupport our busy catering this roleyoullhelp prepare and serve food lay and clear tables and ensure the kitchenremainsclean tidy and safefor our tenants.

Skills and Experience Needed

• Strong communicationskills-Greetingtenantswarmly and explaining menu options clearly.

• Basic understanding of dietary and nutritional needs-Followingsimple guidelines for vegetarian or allergen-friendly meals.

• Hands-on approach to kitchen and dining duties-Settingup tables washing dishes and keeping everything spotlessis key for this role.

• Team player with a flexible attitude-Jumpingin to help with platinguportidying when things get busy. We are looking for someone who has a positive supportive and inclusive attitude towards colleagues and tenants.

• Clean and safeYoullneed to takepride in keeping the kitchen spotless and understand the importance of Health & Safety and Food Safety.

Pay and Pensions

• Annual salary of 24563 (FTE)
• Pension Choices:
  • Defined Contribution (DC) Scheme with matched contributions up to 10%. Or
  • Defined Benefit (DB) 1/80th of final salary for every year of service.

Time off and Flexibility

• 26 days holiday pro rata entitlement. Rising to 27 days after 1 years service or cash equivalent of 1 days annual leave.
