Location: This role serves clients in Decorah Iowa. Applicants must have reliable transportation.

Village Caregiving is based in Iowa City and proudly serves clients across 30 counties in Iowa with additional office locations available for those interested in opportunities beyond Winneshiek County.

Schedule: This is a PRN (as needed) or part-time role with the opportunity to increase hours as our team and client base continue to grow.

What Youll Be Doing

As a caregiver your role will involve providing essential support and care to clients in a one-on-one setting. Youll help improve their quality of life through:

• Personal care tasks such as bathing grooming hygiene and dressing

• Assisting with mobility and patient transfers

• Preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition

• Performing light housekeeping tasks

• Offering companionship and emotional support

What Were Looking For

• A compassionate individual who thrives in a one-on-one care setting

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

• Ability to provide emotional and physical support with kindness and empathy

• Willingness to follow health and safety standards and guidelines

• Committed to reliability and excellent communication with clients families and coworkers

• Passionate about helping people maintain independence and dignity at home

• Comfortable supporting clients who may experience challenges such as mobility limitations or memory-related conditions with patience and compassion
