Job Summary

Job title: Culinary Camp Counselor Speer YMCA (Summer 2026)

The YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg is now hiring Culinary Camp Counselors to lead fun engaging culinary camps for children ages 512.

What Youll Do:

Host exciting and interactive cooking camps for young campers
Teach basic cooking and baking skills kitchen safety and nutrition
Promote proper safety sanitation and food-handling practices
Collaborate on planning the culinary curriculum and assist with purchasing supplies
Create a welcoming energetic and consistent camp experience for all participants

Qualifications:

A culinary degree is not required
Strong kitchen skills and a passion for cooking are essential
Experience working with children is preferred
Positive attitude creativity and enthusiasm for working with youth

Program Details:

Duration: 10-week Summer Camp
Location: Speer YMCA
Pay Rate: $18$20 per hour (based on experience)
