Job Summary
A postdoctoral fellowship position is available in the lab of Dr. Steve Blum at the Massachusetts General Hospital Krantz Family Center for Cancer Research and Harvard Medical School. The Blum Lab develops safer and more effective cancer immunotherapies by integrating primary human samples systems immunology and disease-relevant models to uncover mechanisms of treatment toxicity and resistance. The labs long-term goal is to inspire new therapeutic strategies and improve clinical care by maximizing anti-tumor immunity while minimizing harm. Current efforts focus on two major challenges:Qualifications
Highly motivated and organized individual excited to work in a collaborative fast-paced environment
PhD MD/PhD or MD with research training in biological sciences
Proficiency in basic molecular biology tissue culture and biochemical techniques
Experience with flow cytometry fluorescence microscopy organoid models immune cell engineering multi-omics workflows and/or quantitative analysis is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication organization and teamwork skills
First-authored publication(s) of scientific work
