Caregiver Lead- Omaha

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Caregiver lead will help deliver high-quality compassionate care to ourclients. This role is a fill-in / call-out caregiver providing direct care while also serving as a mentor a resource and a quality control point for a specific group of caregivers. The ideal candidate will be an experienced caregiver with strong Coaching skills and a passion for helping others succeed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Caregiver- leads will:

• Start new clients

• Fill-in for call outs

• Provide care to clients on an as needed basis

This role will require someone that can be flexible reliable strong-communication skills professional and be a great representation of Sunlight Senior Care. No two days will be the same. This is an hourly position and hours will depend on the case load of the office.

Compensation:

Hourly Wage:

$17.00 per hour

Bonus Structure:

For each fill-in for call outs a lead completes they will receive 1 point. After 5 points they will receive a $50 BONUS.

Weekend On-call:

Weekends the lead will rotate with other team members. If an employee fills-in a call out they will get mileage and a $20 BONUS per fill-in.

The lead will be granted 2 Call-outs per Quarter. More than that the lead will automatically be moved to regular caregiver status and their compensation will also be adjusted accordingly.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum 3 years experience preferred.

2. High School Diploma or GED

3. At least 19 years old

4. Be able to lift 50lbs.

5. Familiarity with medical terminology.

6. Excellent communication skills and ability to provide a high level of customer service in a fast- paced environment.

7. High degree of professionalism attention to detail and effectiveness.

8. Trouble- shooting prioritizing and organizational skills essential.

9. Experience with private residence in home care scheduling.

10. Demonstrate excellent observation verbal and written communication skills.

11. Licensed driver with automobile that is insurance in accordance with organizations requirement and is in good working order.

12. Demonstrates tact patience and good personal hygiene.

13. Empathy for the needs of others.

14. Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.

15. Ability to read and follow written instructions.
