What you will do
Receive service calls from Service Resource Center including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions. Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial industrial and residential applications. These include but are not limited to wet (steel copper and CPVC) dry pre-action deluge and fire pumps.
How you will do it
- Read and interpret blueprints diagrams submittals specifications software/systems programs schematics and operational product manuals.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service with strong organizational skills positive attitude and an ability to learn quickly.
- Must have the ability to work alone.
- Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals part manuals change notices and bulletins modification notices order to diagnose and repair equipment.
What we look for
Required
- 3-5 years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems
- Have computer/phone skills - Word Excel Outlook and mobile apps and functions
- Be able to perform service work on all water-based fire protection systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements
- Overnight travel may be required
- Must maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs
- Must adhere to implement and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Possess a valid drivers license and driving record that meets company requirements
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet working within ducts crawl spaces above ceilings etc.
- Must be able to follow read and understand all safety requirement of the company and the customer
- This role does require an on-call rotation
- NICET certification
- Backflow certification
- Fire pump experience
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $25.96 - 40.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experienceknowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with marketdata.)
