EAPC is seeking an Electrical Engineering Student Intern. This position would provide support to an Electrical Engineer on various commercial building projects.
As an Electrical Engineering Student Intern you will:
- Work as an Integrated Member of a Multi-Discipline In-House Team of Engineers Architects and Drafting Specialists working with AutoCAD and REVIT
- Assist engineers and BIM Modelers with completing project design documentation calculations research CAD drawings and/or reports
- Assist project engineers and BIM Modelers in preparing project cost estimates reports and design documents
- Assist engineers with calculations and design
- Assist engineers in preparation of reports department procedures techniques and standards
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Current engineering student with at least 2 years completed in Electrical Engineering curriculum
- Design experience a plus
- Excellent verbal/written communication
- Able to manage time prioritize tasks stay organized
- Excellent design skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and accepting coaching/mentoring
- Must be highly motivated proactive and willing to take on new challenges.
- Able to learn and use software
- Valid drivers license
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
This position will report directly to the Electrical Engineering Department Lead and work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline in-house team of Architects and Engineers. This is a non-benefitted position with variable hours contingent on capacity and availability.
