Job Summary

EAPC is seeking an Electrical Engineering Student Intern. This position would provide support to an Electrical Engineer on various commercial building projects.

As an Electrical Engineering Student Intern you will:

Work as an Integrated Member of a Multi-Discipline In-House Team of Engineers Architects and Drafting Specialists working with AutoCAD and REVIT
Assist engineers and BIM Modelers with completing project design documentation calculations research CAD drawings and/or reports
Assist project engineers and BIM Modelers in preparing project cost estimates reports and design documents
Assist engineers with calculations and design
Assist engineers in preparation of reports department procedures techniques and standards
Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Current engineering student with at least 2 years completed in Electrical Engineering curriculum
Design experience a plus
Excellent verbal/written communication
Able to manage time prioritize tasks stay organized
Excellent design skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and accepting coaching/mentoring
Must be highly motivated proactive and willing to take on new challenges.
Able to learn and use software
Valid drivers license
Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

This position will report directly to the Electrical Engineering Department Lead and work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline in-house team of Architects and Engineers. This is a non-benefitted position with variable hours contingent on capacity and availability.
