About the Role:As an LPN Supervisor at SPIN you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Health Services Team. Your main objective will be to ensure that all people receive high-quality care and that the Health Services team is performing their duties efficiently. You will be expected to lead by example and provide guidance and support to your team to ensure that they are meeting the standards set by the organization. Your role will be critical in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School/GED Associates preferred
- Active LPN license in the State of PA
- Drivers License with an registered insured vehicle to travel to different work sites
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- The ability to multitask prioritize and problem solve while maintaining flexibility with care and compassion.
- Mentors and supports the LPN Case managers and Direct Support Professionals leading by example to provide the highest quality person centered health care support to individuals.
- Provides training in the area of health & wellness both preventative and maintenance to the individual families and employees as needed.
- Weekly check in with assigned Health services personal to ensure competency and quality care in addition to weekly Manager Meetings.
- Lead on Hospital and rehab visits gathering nursing report and leading care conferences.
- Assist with ensuring compliance and completion of all Health services department responsibilities
- On call evening/overnight and holidays in addition to back up for weekend on call which is rotated among other HS supervisor and managers
Skills:
As an LPN Supervisor you will utilize your strong leadership and organizational skills to manage and supervise the Health Services Team. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with the individuals their families and other healthcare professionals. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously will be critical to your success in this role. Additionally your knowledge of state and federal regulations related to nursing and experience with EMR systems will be beneficial in ensuring that all people in carereceive comprehensive care.
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with on-call availability
