Location: Kansas City MO 64132
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts Rotating weekends
On-Call: Required (must reside within 30 minutes of the facility)

Available Schedules

Candidates will be aligned to one of the following 12-hour schedules (finalized during interview):

• General OR Mixed Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts rotating weekends

• General OR Nights: 3 12-hour shifts rotating weekends

Compensation & Incentives

Base Pay (Tech II): $25.00 $35.00/hr
Up to 17 years of experience considered for maximum range

Differentials:

• Nights: $3/hr

• Weekends: $3/hr

• On-Call: $3/hr

Sign-On Bonus: $15000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced OR Surgical Technologist II to support general operating room procedures in a high-acuity fast-paced acute care environment. This Tier 2 role is ideal for technologists who can independently manage the majority of cases and are progressing toward advanced or specialty practice with a clear pathway to Tier 3 advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room with appropriate instruments supplies and equipment

• Assist with patient transport positioning prepping and draping

• Scrub and function as first scrub for approved specialty cases

• Anticipate surgeon needs and maintain efficient procedural flow

• Handle specimens and assist with intraoperative tasks

• Maintain sterile field integrity and support room turnover

• Collaborate effectively with surgeons anesthesia and nursing teams

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room Surgical Tech experience

• Ability to function as first scrub in at least 3 of the following 4 specialties:

  • Robotic Surgery

  • Total Joints

  • Neuro / Spine

  • Vascular Surgery

• Graduate of an accredited Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT) program

• CST certification (NBSTSA) preferred

• BLS certification required upon hire (AHA or Red Cross)
