Description

As a Sr Software Engineering Manager for Anthem flight management and flight controls here at Honeywell you will provide visionary leadership for the software engineering department within the Electronic Solutions sector. You will oversee the delivery of a portfolio of software projects managing resources and priorities effectively. Your role will involve driving the execution of the software engineering roadmap promoting innovation and ensuring competitive capabilities by staying ahead of market and industry standards.

In this role you will impact the strategic direction of systems and software engineering for integrated product teams on the Honeywell Anthem program ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions that align with the companys objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to the development of organizational strategies ensuring the integration of software engineering efforts with broader company goals.

Collaborate with other senior leaders to define project priorities allocate resources and ensure the achievement of strategic outcomes.

Champion the adoption of new technologies tools and methodologies to enhance organizational efficiency and competitiveness.

Qualifications

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations candidate must be a U.S. Person which is defined as a U.S. citizen a U.S. permanent resident or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelors degree from an institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics

8+ years of experience leading software development projects

Experience with software development tools version control systems and continuous integration/deployment pipelines

WE VALUE

background and experience with integrated avionics systems

Advanced degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or another related field

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members

Solid understanding of software development best practices design patterns and architecture principles
