Job Summary
This is important to us
- 3-5 years in agile leadership or senior technical roles with a track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams supported by strong communication coaching and team-building skills.
- Solid engineering background with experience in DevOps (CI/CD monitoring) Linux/Docker/Kubernetes automation using Python/PHP/Go as well as practical knowledge of SQL/ORM REST APIs and clean-code principles (SOLID DRY KISS) including event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform Ansible) cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP) and key routing and switching protocols such as BGP OSPF and VLANs.

The Product Technology area develops and maintains the applications to manage DE-CIX products globally. Within that area the Cloud Services Team is responsible for all DE-CIX cloud connectivity-related services (like DirectCLOUD or DE-CIX Cloud ROUTER) offered to customers at our Internet or Cloud Exchange Points.
The lead engineer is responsible for both technical and people leadership within the Cloud Services team.
