Your Role and Responsibilities

Enable product teams to deploy scale and monitor production-grade microservices efficiently.

Support production engineering activities including troubleshooting AWS access and IAM-related issues.

Ensure scalability and reliability of production systems following Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

Design and maintain monitoring metrics dashboards and tracing systems (Datadog experience required).

Participate in an on-call rotation for platform-related incidents (at least two consecutive days twice per week).

Manage and deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools (Terraform Ansible Puppet Chef).

Operate and improve CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools and cloud platforms.

Troubleshoot distributed systems and respond effectively to production incidents under pressure.

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

3 years of programming experience in one or more of the following languages:
C C Java Scala Python Go Ruby Shell or Perl.

Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.

Strong experience working with Unix/Linux-based systems.

Solid understanding of container-based environments (container knowledge required).

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS ECS Fargate and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP UDP IP DNS OSI Model load balancers).

Experience designing and deploying distributed systems.

Proficiency in automation and scripting using Bash Python and/or Go.

Experience with infrastructure observability and incident response in high-availability environments.

Prior experience supporting large-scale production-grade systems.
