As a Level 1 Trauma Center our dedicated team is expertly trained in the management of acute and urgent trauma as well as electively scheduled procedures for both the pediatric and adult populations. We set a standard of excellence in Orthopedics and Neurosurgery with access to advanced technologies including Surgical Theatre robotic assisted endoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries

Scope of work

TheChargeLead Nurserole is to provide direct oversight and supervision of all on line unit processes. This is inclusive of but not limited to staffing and scheduling changes affecting current shift patient care issues and concerns. Appropriate allocation of resources responding to all codes and handling employee issues and addition to ensuring consistent flow of patients through the department. Functions within the framework of policies and procedures of the hospital and demonstrates growth/development.

Qualifications

  • Associates in Nursing Required

  • Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years

  • Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.

  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required

  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

  • Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years

  • 2 years of RN experience preferred

  • OR RN experience preferred

  • Ortho/neuro experience preferred
