A Material Handler/Expeditor is expected to work closely with teammates to coordinate support of material movement throughout campus and communicate with internal customers and stakeholders. At RTX safety is the foundation of our Logistics operations. Must have a strong focus on safety and adherence to safety protocols. As such the material handler/ expeditor must remain in strict compliance with department and company safety requirements.

**1st Shift: 8am- 4:30pm - El Segundo California. This is an onsite position.**

What You Will Do:

Operate material handling equipment including forklifts manual pallet jacks electric pallet jacks dollies carts and other manual/electric lift equipment
Utilize scanners and other handheld scanning devices
Utilize company computer to take company offered online training
Navigate online material movement systems to monitor work queues and receive work directions
Communicate with customers and internal teammates including logistics dispatcher via phone and/or email

Qualifications You Must Have:

High School Diploma or GED

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance after day one. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Previous Forklift Operator experience
Ability to lift 25 pounds
Ability to push or pull up to 40lbs

The hourly range for this role is $21.31 to $35.23. The hourly range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

Union Specific Information: This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and workplace conditions including shift times are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.

Clearance Information: This position requires security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
